Sweet Alyssum
Sweet alyssum comes in purple, white, and pink varieties which bees love. They’re also known for their extremely pleasant smell that bees cannot resist and can grow up to 10 inches tall in moist, well-draining soil.
Sunflower
Sunflowers need full sunlight to grow between 3 and 10 feet tall, and bees love them since they provide both nectar and pollen. However, be sure not to plant a pollenless variety as bees won’t go near it.
Cosmos
If you’re targeting bees, you should grow cosmos plants in varieties of pink, white, yellow, and purple. In order to reach up to 6 feet tall, they need well-draining, neutral soil, and full sun exposure.
Lavender
Due to lavender’s vibrant color and compelling scent, bees can’t stay away from them. Lavender blooms at a crucial time since most bee-friendly plants don’t flower until summer or fall, so bees can still get their nectar from lavender until the others are ready.
Aster
On the other hand, asters bloom in the late summer and fall, which is when most of the other bee plants have disappeared. They come in pink, purple, and blue hues, and can grow up to 4 feet tall.
