If you’re looking to add extra greenery to your patio without the hassle of caring for real plants, try using pool noodles to create lush foliage with faux plants in your planters.
As TikTok user @lori_leah demonstrates, start by choosing a large planter, and then tape together a bundle of pool noodles cut just a bit shorter than the lip of the planter.
To steady the planter, you can add some rocks or more foam to the base around the noodles. Then, begin adding faux greenery, like artificial ferns, to each pool noodle hole.
You can secure the fronds in the pool noodles by wedging in excess chunks of pool noodle foam. Add plants until all the pool noodles are concealed, and enjoy your green oasis.
