To free up more kitchen storage space, create a floating spice rack by turning IKEA’s Mosslanda picture ledges into a sleek, modern solution that’ll keep these items close at hand.
First, cut a piece of painter’s tape that is 21 ¾ long, the same length as the ledge, and arrange your spices onto the tape. This will determine how many ledges you’ll need to buy.
Once your quantity is set, choose your preferred color that works best with your aesthetic. The Mosslanda ledges come in black, white, walnut, and a white-washed rustic pine look.
At $6.99 apiece from IKEA, the ledges don’t come with screws or anchors, so you’ll need to provide them. Install the ledges near your stovetop and organize your spices on top.
