Ban Brown Recluse Spiders From Your Home With These Two Kitchen Items
By JESSICA DANIELS
All you need to banish pesky brown recluse spiders from your home are apple cider vinegar and dish soap. Their combination will not only deter spiders but also kill them.
To create a natural brown recluse deterrent, mix equal parts apple cider vinegar and water into a spray bottle, then add a few drops of dish soap for every cup and mix well.
Wear long sleeves, pants, and headgear for safety, and spray the mix in infested areas and entryways to deter the spiders. If bitten, seek medical help immediately to lower risks.
Brown recluse spiders don't like the pungent odor of apple cider vinegar, so they'll avoid it, and the acetic acid in the vinegar kills the bugs if sprayed directly on them.
The dish soap will also help the solution stick to surfaces and keep the spiders from escaping to suffocate them. Spray the mix every other day for the best results.
