Banish Cockroaches From Your Home With One Clever Ingredient
By JENNY TINDER
If you’re someone who prefers using natural deterrents while dealing with unwelcome intruders like cockroaches, consider trying this Epsom salt and clove hack.
Epsom salt contains magnesium sulfate, which poses a threat to cockroaches. Its crystalline structure can damage the cockroach's exoskeleton, leading to dehydration.
Additionally, the presence of ammonium nitrate and ammonium chloride in the salt intensifies the dehydration process, attacking the cockroach from within.
As for cloves, their potent aroma is a natural cockroach repellent, and the pests typically steer clear of areas where cloves are prevalent.
To effectively get rid of cockroaches, combine equal parts of cloves and Epsom salts in a shallow dish, and strategically place them near the affected areas.
Refresh the mixture regularly, and check the affected areas to maintain its effectiveness over time. For severe infestations, consider professional pest control.
