Banish Flies From Your Home With One Common Kitchen Ingredient

If you're getting used to being swamped by an army of pesky flies, use a jar of onion salt to create a DIY fly trap that lures flies in with its scent and traps them inside.
Simply grab a used bottle of onion salt and leave the top ajar in the problematic area. Now, wait for the flies to enter the jar, which could be from a few minutes to a few hours.
Once the flies enter, the salt will prove lethal as it absorbs all the moisture. Check the trap in intervals and throw away dead flies to keep things clean and the trap functional.
