Banish Hard Water Stains From Your Bathroom With A Few Essentials
By D.G. SCIORTINO
You can banish hard water stains from your bathroom with a DIY cleaner made with a few essential household items: baking soda, white vinegar, lemon juice, and liquid dish soap.
To create the mixture, fill half of a 32-ounce spray bottle with white vinegar, add ¼ cup of lemon juice, and a squirt of dish soap. Give the bottle a vigorous shake.
Small stains or routine cleaning can be handled by spraying the mixture directly over the stain, scrubbing, and then rinsing with water.
For tougher stains on porcelain or chrome fixtures, cover the area with baking soda first, then spray the solution over it. Let it
sit for 15 minutes before scrubbing and rinsing.
If the stains are on glass, mix the cleaning solution with some baking soda until a paste forms. Use a sponge to rub the paste onto the stains and rinse with water.
