Banish Spiders From Your Home With A Common Kitchen Ingredient
By ROBYN HUNT
Spiders dislike the smell of a clean house since they rely on their sense of smell to find food, so adding baking soda into the mix creates an environment they find repulsive.
Start by giving your house a thorough cleaning, focusing on removing potential spider hiding places, like wood, cardboard, crowded shelves, inside boxes, dark holes, or cracks.
Then, sprinkle baking soda around in corners and other dim areas, near entrances, on window sills, and along door frames to create a barrier that spiders won’t be able to cross.
You can also add essential oils like peppermint, lavender, or tea tree or make a spider-repellent powder with baking soda and turmeric, mint, black pepper, ground cloves, or salt.
