Banish Wasps From Yard And Garden With This Common Ingredient
By ALEXANDRA RODRIGUEZ
Deter wasps from your yard and garden with garlic powder, a spicy, acidic ingredient with a potent smell that wasps despise and usually fly away from in the opposite direction.
You can place minced garlic in a bowl and set it on a nearby table to deter wasps, but a garlic powder and water solution is even more effective at repelling them.
Fill a spray bottle with water and add a few teaspoons of garlic. If you don't have garlic powder, mince and toss a garlic clove instead. Finally, mist your yard and garden.
Placing extra cloves or a scoop of garlic powder in a bowl will help repel the wasps for longer. You can also grow garlic in your garden so that there's always a natural repellant.
