Better And More Sanitary Cleaning Alternatives For A Toilet Brush
By KIM W.S.
Instead of a toilet brush that can be a hothouse of germs, experts recommend cleaning your toilet by hand but with a pair of sturdy rubber gloves and a face mask to protect you.
Use your own scrubbing power (plus your toilet cleaner of choice) to get your toilet bowl squeaky clean. Some also advise using a regular sponge and some baking soda to scrub.
Cleaning by hand takes a bit more effort, but compared to a toilet brush, it's easy to wash and sanitize rubber gloves or dedicate one sponge for the job and replace it regularly.
You can also use a disposable toilet brush, like Clorox's ToiletWand, which is designed for a single use. After scrubbing your toilet bowl, just throw it away so no germs linger.
