Bold Paint Shades Fixer Upper's Joanna Gaines Prefers To Avoid

Joanna Gaines, the star of "Fixer Upper" and founder of a paint company, has revealed that she typically avoids using the paint shades purple and orange in her interior design work.
Speaking to Country Living, she said, "Purple and orange are the hardest colors for me," explaining her belief that purple can seem overly "theme-y" and challenging
to incorporate.
The exception is rich, vibrant purple shades, which Gaines said she likes to use. However, she didn't mention why she prefers to steer clear of the orange color.
Purple and orange are a lot more difficult to add to your home than neutrals or colors like greens and blues, purely because they command attention wherever they are placed.
