Bring Your Scuffed Floors Back To Life With WD-40
By TRICIA GOSS
WD-40 can effortlessly restore the beauty of some floors, such as laminate, tile, and vinyl flooring, by eliminating the scuff marks you thought you could never remove.
Prep by sweeping or vacuuming the floor to remove all dirt and debris. Shake the can of WD-40 well and spray a small amount onto a clean, slightly damp cloth or paper towel.
To remove scuff marks, gently rub the affected area in circular motions with light pressure. If the spots are stubborn or deep, apply more WD-40 until they are gone.
After removing the scuff marks, use a clean, dry cloth or paper towel to remove any excess WD-40 residue from the floor and give it a polished finish.
Avoid using WD-40 on porous surfaces like unfinished wood or unsealed stone, and before doing the whole surface, test it on
a small, inconspicuous
area of the floor.
