Buying Bedding At Home Goods Has Some Unexpected Drawbacks
By DARBY WAGLER
Every turn in a Home Goods store is met with unexpected surprises and eye-catching price points. However, there is one aisle you may want to avoid: the bedding section.
When perusing the Home Goods website for bedding, a theme quickly emerges: many of their sets are made of polyester, which is both harmful to the environment and to your skin.
According to Sewport, polyester is a synthetic material typically made from petroleum, and Mattress Clarity says that, while it may be affordable, it doesn’t feel breathable.
In addition to using synthetic materials, bed sheets from Home Goods have a lower thread count, making them low-quality products that lead to an uncomfortable sleeping experience.
