Cabinet Colors You Should Leave In The Past, According To Our Expert

Brad Smith, Interior Designer & CEO of Omni Home Ideas, exclusively told House Digest that white, monochromatic gray and dark espresso will retire as cabinet colors in 2024.
“The pristine, all-white kitchen cabinet look is shifting towards more natural tones and textures,” Smith explains, “as homeowners seek warmth and character in their spaces.”
“Gray cabinets are giving way to more vibrant and dynamic color schemes” while “dark espresso cabinets are being replaced by lighter woods and painted finishes,” Smith revealed.
However, the interior designer advises seeing trends as guides instead of rules because he firmly believes that “a kitchen should reflect the homeowner’s personality and needs.”
