Cinnamon does have a role to play in the overall strategy of removing bed bugs, but it will only be able to make bed bugs avoid certain areas rather than effectively kill them.
Bed bugs have a strong sense of smell, so they hate and avoid cinnamon's potent scent. So, at best, it'll keep them away once they're gone or before they initially enter home.
Since cinnamon cannot kill bed bugs or their eggs, they'll give the bugs more time to breed and multiply. So, in case of bed bug infestation, it's better to seek professional help.
