Can Vinegar Really Fix Your Bed Bug Problem?
By MACY SEARS
Both white vinegar and apple cider vinegar can combat bed bugs with their acetic acid content, which can damage the nervous system of these pests and ultimately kill them.
Fill a spray bottle with vinegar and thoroughly spray infested areas, especially cracks and crevices, and tight spaces where bed bugs may hide, such as walls and furniture.
Dispose the dead bugs by sealing them in a plastic bag or flushing them down the toilet to prevent further spread. Repeat the process daily for several weeks for the best results.
Keep in mind that vinegar may not completely eradicate a severe infestation on its own. In such cases, seeking advice from an expert or pest control company is best.
