Can You Use Trash Bags To Fill Up An Air Mattress?

If you find yourself needing to fill up an air mattress but don't have a pump around, all you need to inflate it is a good-quality trash bag and a few rubber bands.
First, make a small hole in the bottom of the bag and secure it to the mattress nozzle with the elastic band, creating a tight seal to keep the air from escaping.
Now, you can either blow a puff of air into the bag before quickly pulling the open end closed or try quickly closing the bag to collect pockets of air from around you.
Once the bag is well-inflated, squeeze it with your body weight to push the air out of it and into the mattress. Repeat the process until the air mattress is full.
