Colorful Birds Will Flock To Your Yard With An Old Clothespin
By ALIA HOYT
Birds liven up your yard with their spectacular colors and cheerful chirping; plus, they pollinate flowers and reduce pests. Attract them with this budget-friendly DIY bird feeder.
TikToker @playtime_and_parenting created simple bird feeders from clothespins, glue, peanut butter, birdseed, and some cardboard that are fun to make and that your birds will love.
Simply cut a shape out of the cardboard and glue it to the clothespin, then spread peanut butter all over the cardboard, cover it with birdseed, and clip it onto a tree branch.
It’s essential to replace your bird feeders at least every two weeks and sweep up any fallen seeds to prevent spreading avian diseases and avoid attracting unwanted pests.
