Create A Beautiful Gazing Ball For Your Garden From An Old Bowling Ball

Have fun decorating an old bowling ball, and for very little expense, you’ll end up with a one-of-a-kind glittering gazing ball to display as a conversation piece in your garden.
You can get an old bowling ball from a thrift store or a yard sale. You’ll also need foil or rub-on transfer sheets, primer and paint, and an outdoor acrylic clear coating.
Clean the bowling ball with rubbing alcohol, sand the surface to roughen it, apply primer and paint, add a coat of foil adhesive, then cover the ball with your foil transfers.
Alternatively, you can glue sparkling glass accent gems onto your ball, add outdoor-themed stickers, or simply shine and seal it if it already has an eye-catching design and color.
