Create A Gorgeous Winter Wonderland Candle Holder With This
Easy DIY
By A. R. HOPKINS
Recreate the iridescent, crystal shimmer of freshly fallen snow inside your warm and toasty house by making these easy, inexpensive Epsom salt candle holders.
You’ll need some Epsom salt ($5 from Amazon Basics), glass jars or candle holders, glue, and decorations, like artificial berries or green sprigs ($1.25 each from Dollar Tree).
Spread the Epsom salt on a plate or baking sheet. Liberally apply decoupage glue to the outside of each jar or candle holder, then roll them in the Epsom salt until fully coated.
Let the jars dry, then add candles and any decorations, such as twine and a snowflake ornament from Dollar Tree or a few of the Sweetfamily 24-pack mini-ornaments from Amazon.
You can also turn your candle holders into a holiday centerpiece. Use a mirror as the base to mimic ice, and add small holiday decorations, along with your snowy candle holders.
