While following the latest trends can be tempting when doing a home renovation, HGTV’s Leanne Ford recommends creating a timeless kitchen using neutral colors and simple cabinets.
Using bright and trendy colors in your kitchen may lead to regret later when they go out of style. As such, Ford suggests embracing neutral colors for that classy, ageless look.
For example, white always creates an open, forever-clean-looking space. If you want to introduce pops of color, you can do so though small kitchen items that are easy to replace.
Ford also recommends keeping cabinets classic, favoring simple lines that’ll last forever. Her kitchen features understated white oak cabinet fronts for a crisp, minimalistic look.
