If you’re looking for a budget-friendly place to store your keys in your entryway for easy access, TikToker @redeux_style shared how to turn binder rings into a hanging key rail.
First, wedge the back of a hammer or a flathead screwdriver under the ring mechanism to remove it from your binder. Open the rings, sand them, and spray paint them with Rust-Oleum.
For your base, you can use a cutting board, a skateboard deck, or a flat wooden plank that's wide enough to hold the binder rings. Paint and decorate the base to suit your decor.
Finally, attach the rings to the base with screws or finials, using a level and a measuring tape to ensure they're straight and centered on the base, and hang it in your entryway.
