Create Clever Toilet Paper Storage With This Closet Staple

It’s easy to create an affordable toilet paper storage and dispensing solution using the cardboard tube of a dry cleaner wire hanger, as shared by TikTok creator Sarah Teresinski.
All you’ll need is a wire hanger with a cardboard tube; a wicker basket that’s narrower than the tube; wire cutters; and wallpaper, paint, or colorful tape to decorate the tube.
First, cut a gap in the wire hanger with wire cutters so you can slip the cardboard tube off. Then, cut the tube so it’s a bit longer than the basket width and fits inside snugly.
Next, decorate the tube with paint, wallpaper, or colorful tape; slip a toilet paper roll onto it; and place the tube inside the basket, making holes for it to fit into if needed.
Now, you can fill the basket underneath with extra toilet paper rolls and place your new DIY storage basket and toilet roll holder within easy reach of your toilet.
