Create Unique Bathroom Storage With Stuff Lying Around The House
By CAROL BENTON
Suitcase
Clean an old suitcase, decorate the interior with paper or fabric, attach two small wood boards inside for shelves, and mount it on a wall as a unique DIY medicine cabinet.
Wash your used glass food jars and remove the labels. Then, spray paint the lids, screw or glue on cabinet pulls, and fill the jars with small toiletries.
Cut off the top flaps of a spare cardboard box, measure and cut some Con-Tact paper to cover the entire inside and outside of the box, then store supplies in it under the sink.
Clean and disassemble an old pallet to build a shelf that fits over your toilet tank. Use some boards to create a shelf, legs, and leg braces, then screw the parts together.
Cut off the tops and halfway down one side of three empty bleach bottles. Glue them together to create cubbies for toiletries, then hang them on a wall with Command strips.
