Deter Spiders From Your Home With A Color They Don't Like

Spiders are unwelcome in most homes, and of all the methods used to try to get rid of them or deter them from entering, perhaps the most surprising is using color.
Some say spiders are averse to light blue. This may make spiders feel as if they’re under an open sky and vulnerable, and light blue might also repel insects that spiders prey on.
While it hasn't been explored if color repels spiders from certain areas, you can try painting interior or exterior walls, a porch, or a ceiling light blue or using blue curtains.
