DIY A Stunning Centerpiece With Mason Jars And A Pool Noodle
By Brooke Dougherty
Using a pool noodle, a mason jar, and a few affordable accents, you can upcycle everyday materials into a bespoke centerpiece that looks far more high-end than it costs.
To get started, purchase a black circular mirror, a pool noodle, 28-ounce mason jars, metallic spray paint, and faux flowers. Start by cutting your pool noodle into 2-inch slices.
Insert the slice into the mouth of the mason jar. Then, arrange your faux flowers by inserting the stems directly into the pool noodle for a stable, adjustable bouquet.
Place your finished jar on a black mirror base, which you can spray paint for a high-end metallic look. For extra glow, tuck battery-powered string lights into the jar.
Each finished piece takes under 15 minutes to make, and most items for this project cost under $1.50, making the total cost around $10. The decor is also endlessly customizable.
