DIY A Stunning Garden Feature With Upcycled Mugs For Decor On A Dime
By Amanda Anthony
Per content creator Sherinzz, all you need to DIY a vintage-style, budget hanging garden feature are some twine, two or three coffee mugs, and plants that do well in shallow pots.
Start by installing one drainage hole in each mug using a drill with a diamond bit. As you drill the holes, keep a constant stream of water nearby to get continuous lubrication.
Then, fill the mugs with soil and your choice of greenery. Finally, string the twine through the mugs’ handles, tying them about 12 inches apart, and hang them wherever you want.
