DIY Crafty Fall Window Decor Using A Coffee Staple
By ANDREA ROMANO
Let your windows reflect a fall mood with adorable fruit decals made from simple coffee filters. This hack costs virtually nothing and is fun and easy to do, even for kids.
To make them, you’ll need some unused filters, vegetable oil, Elmer's glue, scissors, watercolor paint (or washable markers and water), paint brushes, and a glue stick or tape.
First, draw fruit shapes, like apples, pears, or plums, on your coffee filters and cut them out. Then, color in your shapes with the watercolor paint or washable markers and water.
When dry, paint the shapes with vegetable oil to make them translucent, then create fruit stems and leaves and glue them on. Attach them to your window with a glue stick or tape.
