Do Love It Or List It Clients Get To Keep The Furniture After Filming?
By SANDY BAKER
On the popular HGTV show "Love It or List It," the beautifully staged homes often leave viewers wondering if the clients get to keep the furniture once the cameras stop rolling.
In reality, at the end of each project, homeowners are presented with a choice: They can either purchase the furniture to maintain the stylish look or opt to have it removed.
It is generally understood that structural renovations and permanent fixtures are typically covered by the original estimate presented by co-host Hilary Farr during the makeover.
However, the expertly crafted decor and furnishings that make the homes look so appealing on TV are generally not included and must be purchased separately by the clients.
