Do This With Your Windows To Keep Your Home Warmer In The Winter
By MARCO ROSSI
To keep your home warmer during the winter months, make it a habit to open your curtains and blinds in the morning, especially those on south-facing and
west-facing windows.
These windows receive the most sunlight, and letting this light in can naturally warm up your rooms, allowing you to lower the thermostat during the day and save some money.
However, it's worth noting that north-facing windows get the least amount of light and can make rooms cooler, so it's best to keep their curtains and blinds closed.
For added warmth in rooms with north-facing windows, consider swapping out thinner curtains for heavier ones during winter to prevent cold air from seeping in.
