Every little bit helps when it comes to reducing what ends up in a landfill, so instead of tossing your bubble mailers in the trash, transform them into stylish hanging planters.
You’ll need a bubble mailer, scissors, a glue gun, a Dritz Extra Large Eyelet Kit, a hammer, strong twine, paints, Rust-Oleum Semi-Gloss Spray Paint, soil, and some plants.
Cut the envelope open along one of its long sides, and seal the open short side with hot glue. If you plan to put live plants in the hanger, poke drainage holes along the bottom.
Paint your mailer, let it dry, then add clear spray paint. Insert the two grommets in the top corners, thread some twine through them, add soil and plants, then hang your planter.
