Double Your Closet Hanging Space With This Incredibly Easy DIY
By OLIVIA MARJORAE
Even with a small closet and lots of clothes, you can be well-organized with very little time, effort or expense. Just assemble and attach a trapeze closet hanger using this hack.
Although there are lots of products available to organize your closet, this low-cost hack is one of the easiest ways to double your closet space — even a DIY novice can do it.
Resembling a trapeze, a trapeze closet hanger is a horizontal bar attached to a closet’s existing hanging rod. You can make it in four steps with basic tools and a few supplies.
Screw hooks into both ends of a spare rod, attach a lightweight chain to the hooks, close the hooks with pliers, then hang the bar on the closet’s hanging rod with two more hooks.
