Clearing cobwebs with a broom often leads to the hassle of cleaning its bristles afterward. To avoid this, all you need is an old crew sock.
Place the old sock over the head of your broom, preferably a long-handle broom, to clean high ceilings and low corners without needing a step stool or having to bend over.
If you have an angled brush broom, place the sock on the handle instead of the brush and secure it with an elastic band before sweeping around.
Using an old sock to sweep up the cobwebs keeps them all in one place, making the cleaning process much easier and cost-effective.
