Easily Mow Your Lawn With This Simple And Effective Pool Noodle Hack
By RON BAKER
Push mowers can be hard on the hands due to their metal or hard plastic handles. An innovative solution to this problem is to use a pool noodle as a makeshift ergonomic handle.
This can be particularly beneficial for individuals with conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, Raynaud's phenomenon, and Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome,
among others.
To try this hack, simply cut a pool noodle lengthwise and slip it over your mower's handle. Instead of taping it to the handle, leave the noodle free to facilitate easy rotation.
Also, ensure that the noodle doesn't interfere with self-propulsion features or cause the safety bar to remain engaged, as this could bypass essential safety features of the mower.
Please note that ergonomics experts recommend a grip handle diameter of around 1.6 inches, as anything over 4 inches could compromise grip strength, making mowing more strenuous.
