Easily Remove Hard Water Stains From Glass With A Bathroom Staple
By RACHEL ANN MELEGRITO
It can be difficult to remove hard water stains from glass surfaces like mirrors, windows, or shower enclosures. Luckily, a bathroom staple can help you tackle them: toothpaste.
For best results, opt for traditional white toothpaste instead of gel. It contains fluoride, which helps break down the limescale and restore the original shine of glass surfaces.
To use, apply a thin layer of the toothpaste directly onto the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, gently scrub the area in a circular motion using a brush
or sponge.
Once the stains fade and the shine is back, rinse the surface thoroughly with water, working from top to bottom to avoid recontaminating the clean areas.
