Easily Remove Stickers From Glass Decor With This Beauty Staple
By SAKSHI KHAITAN
Due to the strong adhesive, removing labels, price tags, and other stickers from the surface of glass decor items can be frustrating. For easier removal, use nail polish remover.
A nail polish remover with acetone helps to get rid of sticker and label residue that detract from the look of the decor piece while attracting dirt and dust.
Wearing gloves, soak a paper towel or microfiber cloth with the remover and place it on the sticky label's top. Envelope the paper towel with a plastic wrap for 10 to 20 minutes.
The remover's acetone solution will evaporate fairly quickly. Remove the wrap and paper towel, then use a plastic scraper to remove the sticker and the leftover adhesive.
If there's still some glue or stickiness, pour the remover on another paper towel and rub it in circular motions to get rid of the dregs. Finally, wash and dry the glass item.
