Pool noodles are fun to play with but have many other uses, too. TikToker @lemonberryteacher put a pool noodle on his pool leaf skimmer so it’s easier to use since it stays afloat.
This means you’ll have less stress and tension in your arms from holding up the skimmer while cleaning debris. The skimmer will also float if you accidentally drop it in the pool.
Measure your skimmer and use a serrated knife to cut a hollow pool noodle to fit it. Next, use a utility knife to cut the noodle lengthwise so you can slide it onto the skimmer.
