For a decluttering hack that will make it easier to part with clothing that no longer serves you, try this easy clothes hanging trick in your closet that utilizes a colored hanger.
Separate your closet into distinct sections — one area can be jeans, another sweaters, and so on. In front of each section, place an eye-catching hanger that will act as a marker.
Every time you wear a piece from that section, hang it in front of rather than behind that hanger. Follow the method for a few months, and see which items you’ve skipped over.
Everything to the left of the hanger is what you haven't worn, and they'll be perfect contenders for the donation bin, helping you keep your closet organized once and for all.
