Elevate Your Backyard Views With The Property Brothers' Fence Upgrade

In Season 6 of “Celebrity IOU” when the Property Brothers renovated the backyard of actress Taraji P. Henson’s friend, they showed how to finish the inside of a privacy fence.
Since it’s both courteous and often obligatory to face the finished side of the fence toward your neighbors, you may want to make the unfinished side facing you more attractive.
One option is to picket both sides of a privacy fence, but the alternating pickets leave gaps. Instead, the Property Brothers finished the inside to look the same as the outside.
A fully double-sided fence like this is estimated to cost just over $13 per foot. It’s also advisable to lay landscaping fabric under the fence to suppress grass and weed growth.
