Epsom Salt Is The Secret To Reviving Your Burnt Pots And Pans
Use Epsom salt to knock off those hard, burnt food remains from the burnt pots and pans, as the household staple's crystal nature and hard edges make it an ideal abrasive.
First, let your pot or pan sit in a solution of hot water and soap to soften it as much as possible. Then, sprinkle some Epsom salt crystals and scrub the pot with a scouring pad.
The friction of the salt and the pad will ease the hardened food and lift it off, which is hard to achieve with an iron sponge or a spoon without ruining the cookware.
