Fixer to Fabulous Stars Dave And Jenny Marrs Predict The Color Trend That's On Its Way Out
By ALEXANDRIA TAYLOR
In a recent episode of HGTV’s “Fixer to Fabulous,” Dave and Jenny Marrs reveal the color that homeowners may want to think twice about for their homes.
According to Dave, "Grays are on their way out" in the world of interior design. Jenny agrees, saying she thinks “warmer and charming" colors may take over, per Realtor.
Grays can have a reputation for being austere and unwelcoming, which can make a room look stark. Tans, beige, and creamy whites, however, are more favorable.
Nature-inspired tones consistently feature in the pair’s designs, such as including planks and wood tones. The wood warms up the space and brings a timeless element.
The duo also likes to add various shades of green to their designs, ranging from darker shades reminiscent of their Arkansas woods to a softer sage that evokes serenity.
Gray isn’t completely off the table. Dark shades like charcoal are a good alternative for black, and combining gray and white creates a contrast that errs on the modern side.
