Get Your Home Organized With These Easy DIYs From A Toilet Paper Roll
By GWEN SWANSON
Wrapping Paper
To keep loose wrapping paper from unrolling, cut open one side of an empty toilet paper roll, slide it over your wrapping paper roll, and tape the slit closed again.
Cords
Roll up your electronic devices’ cords, and tuck them into toilet paper rolls. Label the outside with markers, and store them in a box or drawer to keep them neatly organized.
Stationery
Make a desk organizer using a cardboard box and toilet paper rolls as caddies to hold supplies. Wrap the box and rolls in colorful paper, and secure them with hot glue.
Cosmetics
Cover six toilet paper rolls in decorative paper, then glue them onto a flat piece of cardboard, creating holders for makeup brushes, lipstick, and eyeliner pencils.
Hair Ties
Keep your bobby pins and hair ties organized by looping the elastic hair bands around the toilet paper roll and sliding the bobby pins over the ends.
