Give Your Dirty Doors A Refresh With This Cleaning Staple
By MARCO ROSSI
Doors can build up dust, dirt, and grime over time, which may require heavy scrubbing or scouring if you let it get caked on for too long. Luckily, borax can make this task easier.
Typically used to whiten clothes, pretreat stains, and lift tough splotches, borax can also lift marks off doors and baseboards with less effort than
soap or other sprays.
Add a cup of borax to a spray bottle and fill it with warm water. Shake it well to dissolve the powder, and then use it to spray it onto your doors or baseboards.
Use a damp cloth to wipe away the grime and another one to remove any leftover residue. For tougher scuffs or dirt, create a borax
paste instead to add
some abrasiveness.
