Give Your Old Shutters New Life With This Kitchen Storage DIY

In this Pinterest DIY project, you can make a hip storage cart out of old window shutters. You'll need a drill, cut pieces of wood for the shelves, wood varnish, and caster wheels.
After thoroughly cleaning your shutters, spray paint them on each side. Then, cut the wood for the shelving or have it cut for you, and add a coat of wood stain to seal it.
Secure the shell of your structure by drilling in two wooden pieces across the middle of the shutters and two on the bottom. The inside of the shutters should be facing each other.
Install the shelving, and add four caster wheels to the bottom. The finished result is a unique storage cart you can use for coffee or spirits and free up space in your kitchen.
