In her spinoff show "Good Bones: Risky Business," Mina Starsiak Hawk used a trendy bathroom feature inspired by a hotel in Las Vegas, which brought a wow factor to the special event venue, Charlotte Hall. For homeowners without selling intentions, taking a risky yet trendy design choice might be worth the creative and personalized payoff.
The luxury Vegas hotel had a tub in the bedroom, and so Hawk placed one in the corner of one of Charlotte Hall’s living spaces inside the second-floor suite. The tub isn't designed for traditional use due to the nature of the location, but it is an unexpected element that offers opportunities for conversation and a spontaneous romantic photo shoot.
As seen in the picture above, Hawk also placed a freestanding tub behind the walk-in shower. This placement, combined with the floor-to-ceiling drapes on the window, added an extra luxurious aspect that really made the space stand out, and because the tub is located inside the bathroom, this is a less risky option that yet adds a little of opulence.
