Here's Why You Should Avoid Using Baking Soda To Clean Your Mirror
By KRISTEEN CHERNEY
While baking soda might seem like an all-purpose cleaner, it’s not suitable for every surface. In fact, its chemical makeup and abrasiveness can irreparably damage your mirrors.
Using baking soda on glass surfaces like mirrors causes tiny scratches. Although small at first, the marks become more pronounced over time as dirt and debris get stuck in them.
This results in a constantly dirty-looking mirror. Instead, try using a vinegar and water solution for a natural cleanser if you’d prefer not to use chemical sprays like Windex.
