HGTV Star Alison Victoria's Chic Warehouse Home Is Beyond Stunning
By DANIELA KLEIN
The Courtyard
After a $1.2 million remodel, HGTV interior designer Alison Victoria's Chicago warehouse features an indoor courtyard oasis with a heated floor and spa pool.
Victoria added six smaller pyramid skylights for an atrium effect and a black and white marble checkerboard floor. She added faux olive trees and a dining table to tie it together.
Dining Room
The dining room is informal yet dramatic. Its black and white color palette gives it a luxurious feel, with postmodern-style dining chairs to lend a comfy feel.
Her walls are breathtakingly tall, which gives the area an ultra-grand feel. Instead of standard-sized bookcases, she raised them up to the base of the overhead beams.
Kitchen
Victoria's kitchen screams sophisticated luxury, with a waterfall marble island and sink. She matches this look with green cabinets, brass hardware, and a built-in fridge.
Bar
Her bar features a wooden arched recess originally from a library in Chicago, a gift from her friend Ari Smejkal. It's made with honey-toned wood shelves and lined with mirrors.
Living Room
Her living room is casual and stylish, with an L-shaped couch. A Parisian rug defines the space and anchors the glass coffee table, with an accent chair for interest.
