HGTV’s David Bromstad believes everyone should love their home. As such, he recommends painting your cabinets to add a pop of personality to the kitchen without breaking the bank.
Bromstad’s go-to color is pink, but if it’s a bit too bold, his next choice would be green. You can also create a non-matching look using a few different colors.
If your cabinets feature natural wood, you can darken them using a stain or lighten them up with bleach. You can even mix painted cabinets with wooden ones for a daring look.
Each of these options is easy to DIY. Simply sandpaper away any blemishes before painting over your original color or staining or bleaching the wood according to the instructions.
