HGTV’s Erin Napier Can't Get Behind This Outdated House Feature

In the Season 8 premiere of HGTV’s show “Home Town,” host and designer Erin Napier expressed her disapproval of skylights, labeling them outdated and impractical.
Napier highlighted the main issue with skylights, saying, “We never see a skylight on a house anymore. People stopped doing it because they get very leaky.”
Further, she recommends homeowners to consider removing existing skylights and re-roofing the house altogether, remarking, “A new roof really makes a house feel completely new.”
