HGTV star Jonathan Scott posted a reel on his Instagram of a breakdown of all the essential items you need to properly clean your home this season.

Microfiber cloths can be just the thing to wipe away the dust that has collected around the home. These are super soft and won’t scratch appliances or electronics.

Next up, sponges and scrub brushes can be used to wipe down your kitchen and bathroom counters as well as scrub away all the grime from your sinks and toilets.

Scott lists vacuums and brooms for dirty floors, as well as baskets and bins to have on hand to toss out used cleaning supplies

or junk found all around the home.

To clean and disinfect every room, have an all-purpose cleaner to get rid of dirt and germs. This can be a blend of vinegar, lemon juice, and water or a store-bought cleaner.
